The Honeysuckle Inn just off route 1a is situated in an ideal location for visitor’s wishing to make the most of their stay on Prince Edward Island.

We are only a 12 minute drive from the Confederation Bridge and only 3 minutes from the historic city of
Summerside where you can enjoy free concerts every Friday, Saturday and Sunday throughout the summer at Spinnakers Landing. The city has a lot to interest the visitor including historic walking tours, heritage buildings and homes, genealogy resources, great seafood, museums and exhibition centre and live theatre and lots more.

We are also only a short drive from beautiful sandy beaches with the warmest waters north of the Carolinas and world class golf courses.

Only a 10 minute drive away is the Lower Bedeque School where
Lucy Maud Montgomery held her first teaching position.

If you enjoy great music then why not attend one of the concerts at the
Indian River Festival which are held in the beautiful St. Mary’s Church with its world renowned acoustics.

For those visitors that enjoy antique hunting or shopping for crafts there are many stores and studios close by. We are just a 2 minute stroll from
Thomson’s woodcraft and only minutes away from Bedeque Craft Centre where you will find PEI handcrafted items by over 60 island artisans. It is the largest centre of its kind in Atlantic Canada.

Historic
Charlottetown, our provincial capital is only a 40 minute drive away where you can follow in the footsteps of the Fathers of Confederation by visiting Founders Hall and Province House National Historic Site or enjoy many of the other attractions this great city has to offer.
